Nine Lions Development Consulting
Overview
Nine Lions is focused
on excellence and
growth in fund
development
programs.
Since 2004, Nine Lions has been helping organizations with their fund
development programs and capital campaigns. We’ve worked with a broad
range of clients in all non-profit sectors – health, education, social services,
Arts, recreation, conservation, government, etc. We aim to offer a customized
approach that is unique to each project, regardless of the size and scope.
Our team of certified consultants, researchers and writers will work closely
with your staff to provide the skills, knowledge and focus to launch them on
the road to success.
While we are a Calgary based consulting firm, we work with non-profits of all
sizes throughout Western Canada. Please contact us to find out how we can
help your organization achieve its potential.
Our Philosophy

long term viability of an organization and build solid relationships with their
donors. Our ultimate goal is to foster the “expertise development” of internal

Business Focus
Scope of Business
Nine Lions Development Consulting is focused on three main areas of
service:
1.
Campaign support and development services ensure that
organizations that are looking at a major fundraising campaign
are provided with the expertise to complete their campaign
effectively and efficiently. We work with clients to help them
meet their targets through planning, leadership development,
solicitation and stewardship.
How will new
revenue be
generated in the
organization?
2.
Fund development planning featuring a fund development
assessment and audit with recommendations for successful
implementation. We know that organizations are often looking
for a framework to make the best decisions in their
development program. We work with clients to assess and
review the revenue programs and ensure that there is an
appropriate revenue and program mix for the organization.
The outcome of the assessment is a fund development plan
with recommendations for implementation ensuring long term
growth and sustainability.
Do the staff and
volunteers have the
guidance they
require for success?
3.
Organizational support and/or individual mentoring services
provide on-the-ground support for organizations. Ranging
from 16 hours to 12 days per month, Nine Lions will work with
leaders and staff to develop and implement new approaches to
building a fund development program. Our goal is to provide
teams with the required knowledge and expertise to operate a
successful fund development program using in-house talent.
We structure our plan to have our consultancy completed
within one year of the initiation of the project.
How will the
organization structure
the Campaign and
ensure that the goal is
met?
