But only 18 moons are named! • One year on Jupiter is 4,329 Earth days. • One day on Jupiter is 9.92 Earth hours. DISTANCE FROM THE SUN • Our planet is the fifth planet from the sun. • Jupiter is 778,330,000 km from the sun! • Or it is 5.2 AU’s SIZE OF JUPITER • Our planet is 142,984 km in diameter. • If you take away the sun then Jupiter has half of the remaining mass! • Jupiter would have an equal amount of mass as all the planets combined!
