ECAS & The Participant Portal Project Support Office Bite Size Sessions 24th March 2015 The University of Opportunity What it's all about… In 2014 the European Commission launched the new funding programmes that would provide financial support for research and non-research projects over the next seven years. Over this seven year period, the Horizon 2020 Programme will channel approximately €80 billion towards research funding and the Erasmus+ Programme will make €14.7 billion available for projects that will have a positive effect on the European economy by providing opportunities in the fields of Education, Training, Youth and Sport. Both funding streams use the ECAS system (European Commission’s online submission system) for submission and project monitoring. With this in mind, PSO are delivering a Bite Size session that will focus on the use of ECAS, and explain how to search for funding call information and documentation and submit funding applications.
