Steps for completing the project
1) Identify any five listed companies of India. Choose prominent companies well known in
the market.
2) Visit their respective websites and download the Balance Sheet for the year ending 31st
March, 2015.
3) Extract figures relating to long-term financing i.e. the following heads
a) Shareholders’ funds (including reserves and surplus)
b) Non-current liabilities
4) Tabulate the information for each company in detail i.e. Equity Shares, Preference
Shares, Debentures, Loans etc.
5) Show the respective percentage of each source of capital.
6) Give your comments and observations for each company.
7) The original printed balance sheets must be attached to the project file.

a) Use only strip file for completing the project.
b) The title page should be printed, must display topic, student name, house number, and
name of teacher.
