Welcome
San Diego First Church of the Nazarene is delighted to welcome
you to 30-hours of prayer. We hope that you will find rest,
renewal and insight this weekend. “Welcome home.”
We invite you to spend time on an outdoor Prayer Path. Below
you will find the location of some wonderful outdoor vistas,
which may inspire both awe and appreciation for the
wonderful ways in which our Lord has provided evidence of
grace, blessing, beauty and creativity.
Walk out the Alumni Yard, through the gate, toward the neighborhood street;
Moana Drive. Turn left on Moana Dr., and go about 300ft. to John Street.
Turn left. Go 100 ft. and turn right. Proceed to the cul-de-sac and enjoy the

Heading to the Cliffs
Go back to the Culbertson Building and turn left. Proceed down the hill. At
the bottom of the hill you will come to the entrance to Young Residence Hall.
Ten feet past the entrance is a path down to the City Softball field. Make your
way to the outfield and enjoy the view.
9.
Head north along the pathways about a quarter mile. You will eventually
come to a paved road (beyond the parking lot). This is Ladera Street. Take it
toward the ocean where it meets with Sunset Cliffs Boulevard. Where the
two streets meet is a staircase that goes down to the ocean. This is a great
area for exploration. The access, landscape and tide pools are different
throughout the day depending on the tide levels.
