What does it look like? 1. You will work on a 9 inch by 12 inch paper in markers. 2. You will work in 2 point perspective. 3. You will create letters and shapes to fill the page in a pleasing composition. Recall the composition rules we covered earlier in the year. I suggest rule of thirds because it always works. But if you design requires something like radial balance or framing that is fine. Think it through! 4.You will do this in color using any color scheme you wish. You may add colored pencil with markers to get shaded effects if you wish or you may use color in flat colored graphics planes. 5. You must have at least 4 letters. It can be a word or name, random letters are not allowed. It must be spelled correctly! 6. Somewhere in your design you are to include patterns. Recall how we used patterns in Zentangle. You could use it for background or filling for the letters face. You have to make that decision. 7. Unless it is for composition reasons there should not be any blank white space in your design. 8. Do not do teeny tiny letters in the center of the page. It will not give you a good grade. Plan it out before you start! Rubric for Two Point perspective letters, each item worth 5 or more points depending on the severity. Is the paper (9 by 12 inches) filled? Is the project late? Did the student do a sloppy job by rushing through it? Did the student include patterns? Is there good use of color giving the art contrast? Do pencil lines show? Are there at least 4 letters? Is the project late? Did the student follow any composition rules or did they just pace it on the page without planning it out correctly Is the perspective (overall) drawn correctly in 2 point perspective? http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-4pIVF9o11k0/Ut5FITY1frI/AAAAAAAABdc/fKCifr4d544/s1600/blokken+2+perspec.jpg http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_F94JTwTwuvM/TQmFdLajboI/AAAAAAAAAW0/4vgMzrL6iM4/s1600/using+a+right+tr iangle+to+draw+a+house+in+two+point+perspective.jpg http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http%3A%2F%2Fpltw.haselby.com%2Fpluginfile.php%2F1%2Fblog%2Fpost% 2F3%2F2point.perspective.jpg&imgrefurl=http%3A%2F%2Fpltw.haselby.com%2Fblog%2Findex.php%3Fentryid%3D3& h=293&w=350&tbnid=DW19jtBgNUGUwM%3A&zoom=1&docid=eTdJQk19JmNaaM&ei=ab9kVPXMoKyogSTy4H4Dw&tbm=isch&ved=0CDsQMygzMDM4ZA&iact=rc&uact=3&dur=2759&page=13&start=150&ndsp= 9 http://www.iconeden.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/one-point-perspective-over-horizon-line.jpg https://drawinghand.files.wordpress.com/2012/06/2-point-objects1.jpg http://bxsciart2012.files.wordpress.com/2012/07/two_point_perspective_block_letters_vincent1.jpg http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-kQ_Bkt7TK4/ULYc3WVQbSI/AAAAAAAAAC8/OZRM_YL8sFE/s1600/2+point+perspective.jpg http://www.csupomona.edu/~jesusm1/Perspectivewebsite/images/letterS08.jpg http://media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/236x/1d/3a/7e/1d3a7e1e5cd3818474ef126fbd56415c.jpg http://media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/f4/38/b3/f438b3acbb29b207485aecf400894595.jpg http://www.goldcrownenrichment.org/websites/09-10_3/Sienna-Web/Sienna_2.jpg http://hannahsart1blog.blogspot.gr/2012/11/i-liked-drawing-this-project.html http://artisandesarts.blogspot.ca/2013/03/eye-study-grade-56.html http://stantonbury.plannerlive.com/uploads/Two%20Point%20DESIGN%201.jpg http://cdn-6.incredibleart.org/lessons/middle/images/andi-perspective.jpg http://media-cache-ec0.pinimg.com/236x/c7/5e/eb/c75eebd2939564bb6433d406557fa999.jpg https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/236x/44/82/34/4482344bf5c071590b4d5045e6eea587.jpg http://rumneymarshart.weebly.com/uploads/2/0/8/3/2083748/726027809.jpg?501 http://graffiti-alphabet-letters.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/3D-graffiti-letters-Trans-ONE.jpg
