Course Objectives At the end of the course students will be able to describe and give examples of bonding and reactions between atoms and molecules. Students will be able to identify and evaluate different substance for solubility and pH. Course Components Each unit has a quiz. There is a benchmark at the end of the course. Course Duration and Hours Approximately 40 school days, assuming 2 hours of work per day. Grading Policy Assignments 80%, Quizzes 20% Policy for Academic Integrity 1. ACADEMIC DISHONESTY- Students found to have engaged in academic dishonesty shall be subject to grade penalties on assignments or tests and disciplinary penalties in accordance with the Student Code of Conduct.
