Mini Lesson
There are a few purposes (reasons) for today’s lesson:
1. A very short introduction to the different kinds or types of sciences that you can study
2. A writing sample to show how much you have grown this year
3. To work as a cooperative group and develop protocols or procedures that we will use this year
since you will spend a lot of time working in groups
Expectations:
In the work period part of this paper, you will find a filled in graphic organizer on science. You
will work in teams of 3-4 to take that graphic organizer and turn it into 1-2 paragraphs. As you work, I
want you to write down what you needed to do to work with the members of your team to complete
the task in the space provided.
This lesson will take 2 days so do not worry if you do not get done today!
