Bridge to Terabithia Project
*Due and Presented on Thursday, May 23, 2013*
Please choose one of the following for your third trimester project:
Examples of Puppets:
1.) Construct at least three puppets and present a show on one of the
important events/scenes of the story. Include a 15 lined typed script. At
the top, include what chapter the scene is from and the setting. Make
sure you are using your own words and not plagiarizing.
** Please make sure you pick friends from your roster to help present
your show. Make a copy of the script for them as well.
Example of script:
This scene is from Chapter 1 of Bridge to Terabithia. Jess and his sister,
May Belle, are in his bedroom.
Jess: I love running every morning!
May Belle: Why are you running every morning Jess Aarons?
Jess: Because I want to be the fastest in fifth grade.
Mrs. Aarons: Jess, get down here and milk Miss Bessie.
2.) Create a new chapter or new ending for Bridge to Terabithia. Include three paragraphs that
are five sentences each. Each one of these will be on a separate piece of paper and will include
a picture dealing with each paragraph. Make sure this is typed and backed with construction
paper. Hole punch the top left hand corner and tie ribbon/yarn to hold it together. Make a cover
that states: Bridge to Terabithia New Chapter or Bridge to Terabithia New Ending.

**Remember to check over your “CUPS” in each of these projects!
**We will be working on the rough drafts in school. Please make sure someone checks it at
home before making your good copy.
