Verb - an action or state of being
Preposition - a word that begins a phrase which includes a noun and answers questions like where, when, how or which
one
Noun - person, place, thing or idea
Conjunction - a word used to connect words, phrases, or clauses
Adjective - modifies or changes the meaning of nouns or pronouns
Coordinating conjunctions - single conjunction which acts as a connector
Adverb - modifies or changes the meaning of verbs, adjectives, and other adverbs
Interjection - unnecessary part of speech which adds emotion to a sentence
Pronouns - words that take the place of nouns
Correlative conjunctions - two conjunctions working together to compare words, phrases or clauses
