CONVERTING FRACTIONS AND DECIMALS - REFERENCE
CONVERTING DECIMALS TO FRACTIONS
1) Look at the last spot of the number to find its place value
2) Turn it into a fraction with the number as the numerator and the place value as your
denominator
3) Reduce to simplest form
EXAMPLES:

CONVERTING FRACTIONS TO DECIMALS (DIVIDING NUMERATOR BY DENOMINATOR)
1) Sometimes a fraction cannot be made equivalent with a denominator of 100. In that
case you must:
2) Divide the numerator by the denominator (top number inside the house)
3) Move the decimal of your product over two places to the right
๏ƒ˜ EXAMPLE:
๐Ÿ•
๐Ÿ–
