- Students will synthesize information from an article to support his or her claim for essay to answer unit question(s)
End Task: Students will create a poster outlining his or her answer to unit question 1

How can a person become a hero?
Teaching The Iliad in World Literature Honors
Groups of students will present to the class the prominent books from the 24 books of The Iliad.
Guidelines for teaching
The students will split the responsibilities for teaching the class about the book:






Discussion Questions to give to the class to answer independently or to discuss out loud as a class
Vocabulary
Gods/Goddesses background (if any are mentioned in book)
Plot/Overall story
Meaningful quotes and interpretation
Literary features
Remember, you are responsible for keeping the class engaged with the lesson so they will learn about the content you are teaching.

THAT DAY AND WORKING WITH YOUR GROUP. If you know you are going to be absent on a certain day, please do not sign up for

RESPONSIBLE FOR BEING IN CLASS THAT DAY!!! This is not an assignment that can be made up easily. We would have to have a
