Teaching The Iliad in World Literature Honors Groups of students will present to the class the prominent books from the 24 books of The Iliad. Guidelines for teaching The students will split the responsibilities for teaching the class about the book: Discussion Questions to give to the class to answer independently or to discuss out loud as a class Vocabulary Gods/Goddesses background (if any are mentioned in book) Plot/Overall story Meaningful quotes and interpretation Literary features Remember, you are responsible for keeping the class engaged with the lesson so they will learn about the content you are teaching.
