Revealing the value/s in the story-for Oct
The Truthful cow-SATYAM-KG (9/29/07)
• Values make an individual valuable not the valuables
• Practiced for inner maturity for meaningful life.
• Any body can practice- Cow is a simple, harmless animal but it could do so
•
•
•
•
•
•
why not the humans.
Value of values can be known only in difficulties.
Cows mistake-invited problem but selfless, honest, simple, humble qualities
helped- to maintain balance
and act calmly and rightly without fear.
Lion-difficult situation, Cow-innocent and nice person.
True love for calf-No selfishness- made her fearless.
Fearlessness leads to truthfulness which strengthens the former.
Ex-Rishis in the forest.
Creates confidence and trust in others- removes insecurity, doubt- thus
inspires others to do right thing on their own without raising a single finger.
Continuation….
• Ex- Pujya Gurudev- Others threat, Pujya Guruji-others trying to put down. Swami
•
•
•
•
•
•
•
•
Tapovanm- robbers.
Lion though not believed initially because of it’s insecurity later believed- Satwa
invokes satwa. Fearlessness invokes fearlessness, happiness brings out happiness
Cow thinks the welbeing of calf(own) and Lion(others)- Ayam nijah paro vetti
gananam laghu chetasam. Udara charitanam tu vasudheiva kutumbakam.Noble(Sadhu)- So protected.
Truthfullness leads to clarity and simplicity- Cow told the truth nicely to the calf and
prepared him.
For the cow-time was moving normally, but for Lion-long wait
Cow came back in a relaxed manner- Ex-Lord Rama when told to go to forest
remained calm.
Cow’shumble action-melted the Lions heart- allowed the cow to go.
Truth is God and God is Truth. Na me Bhakta pranasyati. God protected the cow as
she kept God in heart. Dharmo rakshati rakshitah
Truth Triumphs.
