Dear Parents,
This week we:
 learned all about Gordo Gorilla and the
letter Gg.
 learned how to properly form and sound
out the letter Gg.
 made a list of words that start with the
letter Gg.
 learned the everyday word, “like”.
 learned that God made the gift of water
(John 4:10-14).
 learned all about gorillas.
 made a gratitude booklet.
 learning about planet Earth and it’s
regions.
 Please help your child look for the letters,
Aa, Bb, Cc, Dd, Ee, Ff and Gg and the sounds
that these letters make when you are out
and about, around the house, or when you
are reading a book together. Please also
look for and point out the words, “is”, “my”
“to” “the” “a” “for” and “like”.


What We Know
Everyday words that we know: is, my,

Letters we can identify, sound out, and
print properly: Aa, Bb, Cc, Dd, Ee, Ff
and Gg.

cards frequently with your child.
We have library every Tuesday.
Please make sure your child returns
his/her book by Monday.
Please make sure to send your child to
school with a coat that has a hood
every day.
Remember to send a 1-2 item healthy
snack for your child. Please avoid
sugary foods or desserts. Please send
oranges already peeled. Thank you!
