Mandatory Requirements
The following documentation must be submitted, failure to comply and submit any
one of the documents will disqualify the submission:
Annexure A1:
Proof of attendance of compulsory information session
Annexure A2:
Completed and signed Supplier List Application Form (F25)
Annexure A3:
Resolution to sign on behalf of the tendering unit
Annexure A4:
Current and valid original SARS Clearance Certificate
Annexure A5:
Copy of company registration documents indicating list of
shareholders / members from CIPC / CIPRO
Annexure A6:
Pricing template.
Annexure A7:
Minimum of three recent (not older than five (5) years from the
date of the submission) contactable references from customers to
which the tenderer has provided or is providing goods/services that
are substantially similar to the goods/service required.
Mandatory Requirements

Financial Statements
i. One set (2 years comparative figures) of the most recent
audited financial statements for companies or financial
statements signed by the accounting officer for close
corporations
ii. Where the financial statements of the holding company are
submitted, a signed letter be included from the holding
company that they would be liable if the subsidiary defaulted.
Failure to submit such a letter will disqualify the tender
submission
iii. The financial statements should be submitted as a separate
bound document
Annexure A9:
Response template must be completed in full.
Annexure A10:
The bidders DR site must be a minimum of Tier / Rate Three (3).
To confirm that the bidder is Tier / Rate three (3) or above, a valid
copy of certification must be provided by either Uptime Institute, or
ANSI/TIA
Note: All electronic responses are to be submitted in Microsoft Excel / Word format,
PDF documents will not be allowed.
ICT has a mandate to ensure that UNISA will be able to recover
its data in the event of a disaster.
The project seeks a three year contract with a service provider
capable of meeting UNISA’s requirements to provide either a Hot
site or a Cold site for recovery.
The Objectives are:
• Provide a DR solution at a TIER 3 location outside Gauteng
• Provide suggested RTO and RPO per solution
• Insurance that none of UNISA’s data will leave South African
boarders
• UNISA anticipates conducting two tests per year
• Provide work area recovery for ICT Emergency Response

Exadata = 380Kg
IBM tape library = 200Kg
IBM storage = 400Kg
