things are made up of cells. Practiced sorting and saying plants and
animals. Explained to teachers how to use Google Translate in the

Reflection
(Minimum of 3-4 sentences per question)
1. Briefly describe the field
experience. What did you learn
about technology facilitation and
leadership from completing this field
experience?
I learned that technology can
greatly increase the access of a
student to academic content. The
student I worked with was of
extremely low English proficiency
and we were unable to
communicate due to the language
barrier. Using technology we were
not only able to communicate, but I
was able to present lessons to him
that were delivered in Spanish.
2. How did this learning relate to the
knowledge (what must you know),
skills (what must you be able to do)
and dispositions (attitudes, beliefs,
enthusiasm) required of a technology
facilitator or technology leader?
(Refer to the standards you selected
in Part I. Use the language of the
PSC standards in your answer and
reflect on all 3—knowledge, skills,
and dispositions.)

I must be able to contribute to the
development, communication, and
implementation of the use of
technology and promote diversity and
cultural understanding by using digital
communication tools. I was able to do
that with both my student and fellow
teachers. I created lesson plans that had
a strategic plan to infuse technology
into education.

3. Describe how this field experience
impacted school improvement,
faculty development or student
learning at your school. How can the
impact be assessed?
As far as student learning, the student
was assessed and scored well on both
assessments. Teachers also learned
how to use Google Translate.
