This is a 1 hour and 15 minute exam about the physical topics in Geography. Restless earth, Climate and change, Battle of the biosphere, Water world, Changing coastlines and Oceans on the Edge are assessed in this unit. Unit 2- People and the Planet. This is a 1 hour and 15 minute exam about human geography. Topics studied are population, consuming resources, globalisation, development issues, changing settlements in the UK and challenges facing an urban world Unit 3- Making Geographical decisions. This is a comprehensive assessment which involves using a resource booklet of maps, photos and graphs. This is a 1 hour and 30 minute examination. Unit 4- Researching Geography. This will be completed by the end of this half term (April). The finished report will be made up of a maximum of 2000 words and is worth 25% of the final GCSE result.
