• This means you are in your assigned seat when the bell rings
• If absent you are responsible for asking me what you missed.
• For every day absent you will have 2 days to get missing work
done. NOT A GUARANTEE!!!!!
• 1-3 tardies = reminder
• 4 or more = Office Referral

GRADING
• All work is on a point system
• All speeches must be written and turned in for 25 points
• All speeches are worth 100 points
• You cannot give a speech until the written speech is turned in.
• Speeches can be redone, but it is up to you.

• Speeches don’t have to be memorized, but all you get to use is a note
card.
• Late work is accepted but will lose points

LEARNER CHARACTERISTICS
• You MUST be MATURE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
• You are now juniors and seniors; you should be able to control
your impulses which includes, but not limited to: talking,
giggling, touching other people, taking other people’s things,
etc…
• I will not tolerate this type of behavior and you will not last
long in this class.
• This is a speech class, but that does not mean you can say
whatever you want. The content of your speech still needs to
be school appropriate.
