Professional Background About the Business School Lawrence (Larry) S. Clark became dean of the Cameron School of Business in July 2000. Prior to UNCW, Mr. Clark was the business school dean for six years at Sonoma State University and for nine years at LSU Shreveport. Prior to academia, Mr. Clark was an Army Judge Advocate (lawyer). The Cameron School of Business, accredited by AACSB, has over 65 full-time faculty. The School offers a B.S. in Business Administration and a B.A. in Economics. The School offers four graduate degrees: Professional MBA, MSA, MS-CSIS and a dualdegree International MBA (with five European partner universities). The School is highly-recognized for its Cameron Executive Network mentoring program, with over 225 executive mentors. The School has expanded to the new CIS Building that features the Financial Trading Room, the Edward Jones Financial Lab (“Bloomberg Room”) and the $1M BB&T Student Managed Investment Fund. The H. David & Diane Center for Business and Economic Services provides regional economic analysis and business support, including the UNCW Entrepreneurship Center. Chamber of Commerce’s award for distinguished service in support of economic development. He is a former President of the Southwestern Business Dean’s Association. Academic Activities Mr. Clark regularly teaches Business or Labor Relations Law. His textbook with McGraw-Hill, Law and Business, was a top seller for many years. He oversaw the development of SSU’s Wine Business Program in collaboration with over 100 California wineries. He was host for nine years to the Turku (Finland) Executive MBA Program students for their U.S. experience. He was twice a recipient of the LSU-S Outstanding Faculty Award.
