Documentation of production processes

The candidate will submit up to five pages of
documentation (five legible single-sided A4 pages) from
the pre-production, production and post-production
processes providing supporting evidence about preproduction planning, targeting audience values,
form/style, application of technology, manipulation of
codes/conventions, contribution to and evaluation of the
production sample.
It is mandatory that one of these pages is the
candidate’s reflection about the process and content of
the production and that it validates their contribution to
the production sample.
Candidates can include other materials, for example, a
synopsis, annotated script, journal entries or story
boards, providing the total documentation does not
exceed five pages.
Documentation of production processes

The candidate will submit up to five pages in length
(legible single-sided A4 pages) a document which
demonstrates the candidate’s understanding and
application of the production process. The following
areas must be discussed within the documentation:
 a rationale outlining the intent of the production and
its connection to audience context (no more than
100 words)
 pre-production process including evidence of
planning and research
 application of production skills (including primary
and secondary roles)
 reflection and evaluation of the production.
Candidates can include other materials, for example, an
annotated script, journal entries, storyboards or screen
captures, providing the total documentation does not
exceed five pages.
