We recognise that in order to achieve this, we need to establish, maintain, communicate and measure the effectiveness of our Business Continuity Management and establish a process to mitigate, control and improve risks to our business. It also need to be aligned to FMG’s overall Business Strategy and Objectives. The scope of FMG’s Business Continuity Management System is the activities carried out in the operations of our business at FMG House and Market Street. It also includes the activities of our home-workers relating to the maintenance and growth of our business relationships with customers and suppliers (travelling). It includes outsourced processes that can affect the continuation of our business. Objectives Our Business Continuity Management System consists of the processes involved in the operations of our business activities. The objective is to ensure continuation of customer critical services that will allow the business to meet its strategic objectives. This will be achieved by meeting the following criteria Ensure that all identified risks relating to Business Continuity are documented and are managed within FMG’s Risk Strategy, Appetite and Timescales. Ensure that the Critical Activities are tested annually. Ensure that all Business Continuity Plans are reviewed within agreed timeframes and are able to deliver critical services to the agreed requirements, including staff provision. Ensure that all FMG Employees are aware of their Business Continuity roles and responsibilities. Ensure Compliance to Certified Business Continuity Standards.
