Indirect Tax Consultant - Houston, Texas
Tax Advisory Service Group, LLC, a tax technology firm in Houston, Texas, is in search of an indirect tax consultant
who will consult clients in Oil & Gas industry regarding Motor Fuel Excise Tax (federal and state) compliance. Provide
clients with technology tax solutions in the motor fuel tax area. Work with clients in managing their indirect tax
liabilities through end-to-end approaches. Develop an understanding of the tax advisory approach, methodology, and
tools in order to provide appropriate solutions to the client. Interview clients, document results from workshops
determine tax requirements, and research tax issues based on complex sets of acts and circumstance. Assist
engagement teams in strategic tax initiatives; establish consultative working relationships with client personnel. Keep
clients informed of tax developments that affect their business, and help them to interpret and integrate tax
considerations into their business strategy. consult clients in Oil & Gas industry regarding Motor Fuel Excise Tax

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor in Accounting
- CPA preferred
- knowledge of Motor Fuel Excise Tax (both State and Federal)
