I am a 20 year old junior at Towson University in Towson, Maryland. I am a transfer student from Frostburg State University. I am a national honor society student majoring in Biology. My passion is pharmacy, so with my degree I hope to become a pharmacist. I love being involved and staying active which is why I joined Towson's JSM modeling team. Once I heard about the Positive Business Women, Inc. organization, I knew this was the organization for me. It is giving me the opportunity to provide guidance and support to young girls. Growing up, the only person I had to talk to was myself so I want to be that listening ear for someone else. Mariah Oates My name is Mariah Oates. I am a 19 year old rising senior at Towson University in Towson, Maryland. I'm proud to say that I graduated from Bowie High school at the age of 16 and I knew exactly what I wanted to do with my life my senior year. At the age of 18, I received my Associates Degree from Montgomery College in Communication Studies. I am now pursuing my bachelor's degree in Mass Communications with a track in New Media. I am a free spirit with a large personality which is why some people say that I'm perfect for being the next Broadcast Journalist. My adrenaline rushes when there is a camera, microphone, and story to be told. I hope to become the next Guilana Rancic! Besides that, I've always wanted to be in a position where I could share my life experiences with others and mentor those younger than me. I still have so much to learn and more to go through, but there is so much that has already happened that has shaped who I am today. I have a brother who is 9 years older than me and a God sister who is 3 years older than me. Having my God sister around gave me a role model, a teacher, a critic, and a shoulder to cry on. She was a big part of why I was able to pull through my negatives and have way more positives. I want to be able to do that for someone else. If I can prevent someone from making a mistake I once made, then everything I've gone through was worth it. Micole Turner Micole Turner is currently a junior at Towson University (TU).
