The absolute location is 31”30’ N,
34”45’ E. It is east of the
Mediterranean Sea and northeast of

On May 14, 1948 Israel became its own country
by declaring independence.
 From 1939-1945 the Jews were afflicted, and
killed by Adolf Hitler and the Holocaust.
 June 5th,1967-June 10th,1967 the “Six Day War”
occurred.
