RAFT Projects
Target:
 To gain knowledge and understanding of the various aspects of Puberty, STD’s and
Contraception.
 To understand why these changes happen to the body.
 To be able to make an informed decision about these topics if you ever need to.
R – Role
Your role is to create a source of information for high school students to learn about puberty, STD’s and
contraception.
A - Audience
The audience is for high school freshmen in Health class.
F – Format
The format for your information can be up to you. However, it should include and express any valuable
information about your topic. Please make sure you get an “OK” from your teacher before you begin
your project.
Format ideas: brochure, pamphlet, video, booklet, book, Prezi, Voci, etc (No Power Points!) Be
CREATIVE!
T – Topic
You will have your choice of topic as long as someone else didn’t already choose it.
The class will be evenly distributed with projects among the 3 major topics
