song represents you.

2. If you do not have an aptitude for a skill, you must
work harder to develop the ability to perform that
skill at a master level.

Your ATTITUDE is how you react to a situation.
1. Your attitude affects your happiness.
2. Your attitude shapes how others view you.
3. Employers try to hire people with a positive
attitude.
4. You CAN control your attitude. Sometimes you have
to DECIDE to be positive.
Self-Concept
Your SELF-CONCEPT is recognition of both your
strengths & weaknesses and feeling good
about yourself by accepting who you are.
1. Self-concept can affect your personality and attitude in a
positive or negative way.
2. People with a realistic self–concept see themselves as they
are, not how they want to be or how others see them.
3. A high self-esteem -or- respect for oneself, usually comes
with having a realistic and complete self-concept.
4. Self-concept can change as you have new experiences and
are faced with challenging situations.

1. Your self-concept should come from what’s inside of
YOU, not what you’re told by friends, adults,
society, or media.
2. You must be honest with yourself to have a realistic
self-concept.
3. Acknowledging weaknesses does not make you
weak. It helps you get stronger.

5. People who brag a lot or bully often have a poor
self-concept and are covering their insecurities.
