Steven L. Stroh, PhD, PE, SE
Steve Stroh is a vice president and URS’ National Director for Major Bridges. He is
responsible for technical direction, overall production and quality control of major bridge
projects throughout the United States. As the Tampa office bridge group manager, Mr.
Stroh is active in project management, preliminary and final design, construction
document preparation and construction-phase services. His expertise includes
structural analysis and design for a wide variety of bridge structures, including concrete
and steel grade separation structures, water crossing and viaduct structures,
segmentally constructed concrete bridges, long-span cable-stayed bridges, Arch and
Suspension Bridges. Special analysis has included aerodynamic stability investigations,
earthquake dynamic analysis for long-span bridges and detailed finite element
modeling. Mr. Stroh has 36 years of bridge design and management experience. He
has a PhD in Civil Engineering from the University of South Florida and is a licensed
engineer in Ohio as well as 20 other states. While he resides in Florida, Mr. Stroh has
co-located to the Cleveland area for the project and is serving as Chief Bridge Engineer.
Todd Bergstrom, PE
Todd Bergstrom is the Vice President of Surface Transportation Design-Build Services
in the Akron office of URS Corporation. He leads the company’s efforts in the DesignBuild arena across a four-state region including Ohio, Michigan, Indiana and Kentucky.
Mr. Bergstrom has been with URS for more than 5 years, and has served as Senior
Project Manager for Design Build, and Structural Engineering Department Manager.
Over his 30-plus years as a Transportation Engineer, he has performed and/or
managed a wide variety of projects within the field of structural and transportation
engineering including several interchange and bridge design and design-build projects
for ODOT, various counties and municipalities. Currently he is also the Design-Build
Team Design Project Manager for the $273 million eastbound portion Cleveland I-90
George V Voinovich Bridge design-build project. Mr. Bergstrom received a Bachelor of
Science Degree in Civil Engineering from The University of Akron, and is a licensed
Professional Engineer in Ohio and West Virginia. He resides in Norton, Ohio.
