• TEDx is a program of local, self-organised events that bring people
together, with the aim to learn, share and discuss Ideas Worth
Spreading.
TEDxYouth Day For Hong Kong
• Hong Kong is participating in a global TEDxYouth Day event, held on
November 20, 2010 -- Universal Children's Day
• TEDxYouth Day brings together Hong Kong’s grassroots and
prominent 'thinkers and doers’; with an amazing lineup of speakers, novel
performances, experiential workshops and students sharing ideas
that inspire curiosity, ignite new ideas, and empower young leaders.
• Target audience : age 15 – 25
• TEDxYouth Day will live stream its talks on its website:

TEDxYouth Day’s Goals:
• Inspire local youth with interesting and
meaningful career paths
• Mobilize youth to contribute to the local and
global community
• Connect different communities within Hong Kong

fun and thought-provoking

Help inspire youth by sharing how you found, pursued, and
developed your projects or career.
Some Questions to Keep in Mind:
• What is your background?
• Why is this issue of particular interest to you?
• Did you switch into this project/profession? If yes, then where
did you come from and what was your turning point?
• What exactly do you do and how do you do it?
• What are the influences of your work (i.e. on the environment,
or in a community), on a micro and macro scale?
• Are you being too serious? Try to relax and be funny too!
