and it is impossible to turn it ON”

Fault source search
• Suspicion of false set-up during the re-pr0gramming
• Following this first repaired unit, Elcotron recommended NA62 to measure the
•
impedance between the power pins and the DSUB 9p of all NA62 crates in order
to make sure that no short was present in those crates. NA62 did those
measurements and did not find any short in any of their crate.
Andreas Koster (WIENER): “We discussed the problem here, and another idea rose:
We had some destroyed inductors (together with the SYSRESET transistor) in
standard crates because a customer connected +12V to the SYSRESET line.
I think the backplane in the NA62 setup has the SYSRES signal available, too. So may
be there is a bin (or a VME card) which connects the SYSRES line to unallowed
voltages?”
