Learn how to use websites like Craigslist, Etsy and eBay to buy and sell things online. Presentation and discussion March 12 - (Computer Lab) – State of Ohio WebQuest (Part 1) - Research and locate information about all things related to Ohio. We will be using a Web Browser and Microsoft Word for this activity. You can work individually or with a partner. This class is a 2-part class due to the amount of work we will be working on. Bring a USB Flash drive if you have one. This class will be using your findings in 2 weeks to continue this activity. Class activity March 19 - (Medina Room) – Keeping up with Google – We will introduce you to the latest Google tools and tricks that will make you more productive, taller, and better looking. Or not. Seriously, though, in this class presentation we’ll attempt the impossible: We’re going to try to catch up with all of—or at least most of—Google’s latest inventions. You will learn how to properly care for your desktop or laptop computer to ensure optimal performance through the routine maintenance necessary to keep your computer running smoothly. You will also learn about some utilities that can accomplish these tasks for you. These tutorials are available when you are, on your schedule. You can view one lesson or an entire tutorial. And you don't have to create an account or sign in; you can start learning immediately. If you need a quick answer, click on the relevant tutorial, view the applicable lesson, and then go on with your day. Not only do keyboard shortcuts save on time, but they’re also your lifeline in keeping your computer running when your mouse goes down and they save your hand from the repetitive strain of constant clicking. Besides, technology is going wireless anyway, so why can’t your computer be free from the mouse?
