Summary/Explanation of Specific Skills/Learning outcomes That Artifact Demonstrates: This artifact shows Ponyboy who is the main character in The Outsiders and we did paragraphs about him. In these paragraphs we showed who he is and how he develops throughout the novel. By doing this, I have learned how to tell the difference between an informal artical and a formal artical. I also learned to use stronger vocabulary and how to introduce different ideas in paragraphs. Challenges or Areas for Continued Learning: Any challenges or areas for continued learning for this artifact is to write formal paragraphs more than informal paragraphs. Artifact: Description of Artifact: I chose this picture because it shows conflict and conflict was a big part of The Outsiders novel. Summary/Explanation of Specific Skills/Learning Outcomes That Artifact Demonstrates: This picture shows conflict and there was a lot of conflict in the book. An example of conflict in the novel was when Bob, a Soc, started attacking Ponyboy then Johnny murdered him. That was the biggest conflict that probably happened in the novel. The conflict in this novel makes me feel very upset because conflict like this actually happens in the world. Challenges or Areas for Continued Learning: This demonstrates that I have learned how to resolve conflict at home, school, with friends, for the future. The End
