Français III Devoirs pour la Salle d’Ordinateurs
mardi, le 6 mai TODAY IS THE LAST DAY TO FINISH COMPUTER WORK!
1. Prepare for the listening portion of your final exam by writing in perfect
French the responses to the questions on this file: Listening Prep for Final Exam
2. Époque de l’Histoire de France Presentation - Create a new power point OR
prezie presentation for the period in French history that you have chosen. You may
prefer the prezzie format since you’ll need to place your époque on a timeline; the link
is on our sharepoint page. The required information for this presentation is on our web
page in the French III list of documents in the folder entitled “L’Histoire de France”:
Époque of French History Research Guide -- Mardi Gras All of your slides should be
translated into perfect written French, with all verbs only in present, imperfect, or perfect
tenses. You may use online translation help if you wish, but you must be able to explain the
use of tenses and other grammar points we are studying in class. Finally, record yourself
translating all the French you have written on each slide (except the list of works cited) into
perfect English.
3. Projet de Choix – As your final project, you may choose your medium to write
a short story in French, using appropriate combinations of present (présent),
perfect (passé composé), and imperfect (imparfait) tenses. If you are feeling
creative, you may write a fictional short story about characters of your choosing;
you may wish, for example, to create a powerpoint cartoon featuring your
classroom animaux (See examples in these folders: Les Petits Contes des
Animaux; Les Histoires de Famille ). If you prefer a more personal subject, write an
autobiography or biography of at least 5 paragraphs describing how you or
someone you know came to be who, what, and where you are (or he or she is)
today. You may also put on a café, or write and act out a brief skit or play, or
write and perform a song. Before you begin to write your story, however, be
sure to have it approved by Mademoiselle Owen.

3a. Petit Pièce de Révision (C’est à Toi) – Practice your lines for your family’s review play
for Units 3 & 4. Be sure everyone in your family can both translate and correctly pronounce all
of the lines, including the stage directions. Try the text book video of your unit for listening to
the proper pronunciation of your lines: C'est à Toi online text
If you’re reading the stage directions, I’ll e-mail you your part to practice.
Nota bene: We have found that the headphones work better when you log in to the Mac side
of your computer for this activity.
3b. Record your lines on a Power Point presentation slide: First type the line you’re saying
then record it (Please speak loudly!), numbering each sound bite according to the
scene it’s from (15, 18a, etc.). Be sure to place the speaker icon
right next to
the phrase that matches it. It will also help if you identify the lines
by their scene
numbers which are in the black triangles on your script. When you’ve recorded all of
your lines, e-mail this PP presentation to Mlle Owen as an attachment.

8. Choose a period in French history about which to develop a comprehensive power
point presentation. The list of historical eras is on a WP file on your sharepoint page in
the documents section inside the “L’Histoire de France” folder entitled “Les Époques
de l'Histoire de France.“ Let Mlle Owen know right away which one you want so it
won’t be taken by someone else.
