CHALLENGE AROUND THE WORLD
For this activity use the accompanying map of the world. Your task is to start at the point given in each situation.
Carefully follow the directions in the order in which they are given. As you move your pencil east or west, north or
south, you will get closer to the mystery city with each move. When you have completed all of the moves, you will
have arrived at a spot on earth where a major city is located. To find out what that city is, note the location on
your map and compare it with a map or glove that has major cities indicated. Fill in the blank space with the name
