The concept of “Levels of Leadership” originated by John C. Maxwell has it that there are
5 different levels of leadership.

LEVEL 1
Leadership By Position
People follow you because they have to

LEVEL 2
Leadership By Permission
People follow you because they want to

LEVEL 3
Leadership By Production
People follow you because of what you have done for the organization

LEVEL 4
Leadership By People Development
People follow you because of what you have done for them personally

LEVEL 5
Leadership By Pinnacle
People follow you because of who you are & what you represent

Technicians , Evangelists, Children Class Teachers ,
Ushers, Song Leaders, Church Accountant, Deacons,

Moderators, Teachers, Registrars, Cleaners, Church
Secretary, Money Counters, Nursery Attendants
WHO IS THE MOST IMPORTANT?

To answer the question, think of the Church as a body
(1 Cor. 12:12-24 NIV)

No one is more important!
All are important because they play unique roles.
Therefore, cooperative followership is needed for successful leadership because we all play important unique roles. You do a job no one else can do BETTER than you! And if you don’t, the whole body suffers – including you!

SUMMARY
 Successful leadership is a LEVEL 5 leadership: People follow because of you are
 “The final test of a leader is that he leaves behind him in other men the convictions and the will to carry on.”
 We need to cooperate because there’s a job only we can do so well & if we don’t, the whole body suffers including us
 We can cooperate by making ourselves available when needed, get delegated jobs done and on time always, encourage, and let our money do the talking.
