RESOURCE Where have you heard this word? What does it mean? What different types are there? DEFINE Natural Resources: Human Resources: Capital Resources: Management Resources: Natural Resources: These resources are produced in or by the earth. They include everything in nature such as water, fish, soil, forests, oil, etc. Human Resources: These resources are the people who work to create and provide goods and services, such as teachers, pilots, dentists, drivers, rockstars, and factory workers. This can include people who are working and people who are unemployed. Capital Resources: These resources are human made resources used to help run a business. They include everything a business needs to operate such as machinery, tools, and equipment. Management Resources: These resources are the abilities and skills of a business to organise all the previous resources to run a business successfully. It can include advertising, marketing, shareholders, directors, and managers.
