ACADEMIC DEPARTMENTS
Pharmaceutics is the discipline of pharmacy which
deals with all facets of the process of turning a
new chemical entity (NCE) or biological active
compounds/crude drugs into a medication able to
be safely and effectively used by the patients.
Pharmaceutics is the science of dosage form
design and its performance. It is much more than
a single area of science; it encompasses a
spectrum of diverse scientific disciplines
ACADEMIC DEPARTMENTS
Clinical Pharmacy is relatively modern science, it
began about a quarter of a century ago.
However, a new generation of clinical pharmacists
shows interest of patients, rather than interest in
traditional product pharmacotherapy, where the
need was and is still desperate for people qualified
enough and knowledgeable to use of therapeutic
medicine and familiar enough with diseases and to
help with the medical team in the care of patients
in terms of use of optimization of drugs and health
promotion and prevention of disease.
ACADEMIC DEPARTMENTS
