Then I heard the voice of the
Lord saying, “Whom shall I
send? And who will go for us?”
And I said, “Here I am. Send
me!” (Isa. 6:8)
Brother (Brojack) Williams
My name Is Brother Jack Williams, Brojack for short,
and I am a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I am a

University) and an ordained minister with a Certificate of
Ordination and a Certificate of License. That means I am

marriages, administer the Sacraments, and to direct
other functions of the ministry. I was an Associate
Pastor for nine years until God called me into
Evangelism Ministry. Currently God has me involved in
prison minister that has led me to Death Row in the
State of Texas. Out of that Brojack Ministries was
birthed, whose primary purpose is to spread the Gospel
of Jesus Christ and educate people, especially our
youth, about the dangers of drugs and alcohol and how
the can lead you to death row whether you believe it or
not!

Death Row Facts
Death Row was located in the East Building of the Huntsville Unit
from 1928 to 1952. From 1952 until 1965, the electric chair was located
in a building by the East Wall of the Huntsville Unit.
The men on Death Row were moved from the Huntsville Unit to the
Ellis Unit in 1965. Death Row remained at the Ellis Unit until 1999. In
1999, the TDCJ moved Death Row to the Polunsky Unit. The Polunsky
Unit houses Death Row offenders separately in single-person cells
measuring 60 square feet, with each cell having a window. Death Row
offenders are also recreated individually.
Offenders on Death Row receive a regular diet; have access to
reading, writing, and legal materials. Depending upon their custody ,
some Death Row offenders are allowed to have a radio. The women on
Death Row are housed at the Mountain View Unit. Offenders on Death
Row do not have regular TDCJ-ID numbers, but have special Death
Row numbers.

Last Statement:
First of all I would like to give my sincere apology to Amy's family.
We caused a lot of heartache, grief, pain and suffering, and I am
sorry. I know it won't bring her back. I would like to sing, I would like
to sing for that person's dead. The old is gone. I am not the same
person that I used to be, that person is dead. It's up to you if you
would find it in your heart to forgive.
As for my family, I am sorry I let you down. I caused a lot of
heartache, and I ask for your forgiveness. I am not crying for myself,
I am crying for the lost and those that are dying for their sins, those
that are committing suicide, those that don't know God and have
never been set free. I've been locked up 13 years. I am not locked
up inside, all of these years I have been free. Christ has changed
me. Even though I have to die for my mistake, he paid for mine by
wages could never pay. Here I am a big strong youngster, crying like
a baby. I am man enough to show my emotions and I am sorry. I am
sorry for everything. I wish I could take it back, but I can't.
Summary of Incident
On 02/20/2002, in Houston, Texas, Adams shot
his 19 month old black male child twice in the

On February 22, 1990, Gayland was convicted in
the shooting death of 29-year-old Brian Edward
Williams during a robbery of Angelo’s Food Store at
3021 M.L.King Jr. Blvd. in Dallas. Williams was shot
four times with a handgun and later died of his wounds
in a Dallas hospital. Bradford stole a .357 revolver, a
cap, and Williams’ wallet before fleeing the store. He
was arrested on January 3, 1989 and later gave police
a voluntary statement.
Summary of Incident
On 04/01/99, during the daytime, at TDCJ-ID Telford Unit
dayroom, Taylor fatally stabbed an adult black male offender
multiple times with an 8" home-made weapon. Taylor and one
co-defendant had engaged in a fight with the victim due to
racial tension between Taylor and the victim. Taylor was a
member of the Aryan Brotherhood of Texas (a recognized
security threat group).
Summary of Incident
On 12/15/98, at approximately 8:30 a.m., Mathis shot three
victims in the head with a .45 caliber pistol at a known drug
house in Fort Bend County, Texas. One of the victims, a 15year-old Hispanic female survived the shooting, paralyzed
from the chest down. Mathis reportedly turned the gun on two
other intended victims, however, when he attempted to pull the
trigger, the gun either misfired or had been jammed.
Last Statement:
Yes, sir. I just want to say to all my supporters, family and friends; I
love y'all and appreciate y'all. To the ones representing me today,
thank you for everything. The system has failed me. This is a
miscarriage of justice. There are people on death row that need help.
I love my family. I love you too, Mom. I am alright. I asked the Lord to
have mercy on me and I hope He has mercy on these people
carrying out this mass slaughter. They have no respect for humanity.
To Melanie, I never meant to hurt you. You were just in the wrong
place at the wrong time. I am not asking for your forgiveness. All I
have to worry about is God forgiving me. I hope you get better and for
the doctors to continue to take care of you. Take care of my mother
for me. To everybody, know that I love you and I am OK. Lord, have
mercy on my soul. Lord, have mercy on my soul. Lord, have mercy
on these peoples' soul. Life is not supposed to end this way. No more
pain and frustration. When I knock at the gates, they will open up and
let me in. To my mom and everybody, I love you. I can feel it right
now. My life, my life.
