PENDING PUBLICATIONS Faulty Crime Labs: Responsibilities of Prosecution and Defense when broad Crime lab failures are exposed. Errors are discovered in many crime labs throughout the country. This article addresses ethical and procedural duties of the criminal defense Bar to redress the errors on past and pending cases. New Duties Concerning Cross-Examination of Experts after Melindez-Diaz and Bullcoming v New Mexico. Since the Supreme Court has issued a trilogy of cases requiring the attendance of Experts at trial, there are new demands and techniques concerning the cross-examination of these experts. Race and Guns: The applicability of the Second Amendment to Black People and Equal protection of the Right to possess Guns. An examination of the extraordinary historical treatment of the denial of guns to Black people from the Black Codes forward. Mass Killers: A study of Mass Killings and Second Amendment arguments as a defense. Entrapment: A short article on Derivative Entrapment (where second and third parties can adopt an entrapment defense when entrapped by a private party who was influenced by government agent.).
