Dual Enrollment….. Getting Ahead! Dual Enrollment Dual Enrollment allows a high school student, 16 years of age, to participate in college courses while simultaneously earning high school and college credit. Students either purse a program, sometimes link to an academic pathway or core classes (ACCEL). ACCEL allows students to take 27 classes that will transfer to any other college/university of either USG or TSCG. Explanation of Testing Testing: Savannah Technical College’s entrance exam is the Compass and the Asset, which is the first step to in the dual enrollment process. Financial Aid Hope Grant funds will be applicable to students who are participating in programs (i.e. Welding, Shampoo Tech, Cosmetology, Criminal Justice). ACCEL funds will be applicable to students who are participating in the ACCEL program (i.e. College Algebra-Math 1111, and Composition Rhetoric-English 1101).
