In order to be a completer in Career and Technical Education (CATE), students must take and pass 4 CATE courses in the same career cluster, and have an overall GPA of 2.5 or
better. Please list all CATE Courses that you have taken and passed. If you are currently enrolled in a CATE course (in class or online), and feel fairly sure that you will pass
the course, you may count it amongst the CATE courses you are listing below:
Of the four required CATE courses, there are usually two required courses plus two additional courses for a total of four. CATE courses are electives and can be taken as a part
of the 6 ½ elective credits required to graduate from high school. Below are course combinations (career clusters) that can be taken in order to be a CATE completer. All
CATE Completers receive the CATE medallion at the year-end awards assembly. Complete the top of this application and RETURN TO MS. WILSON IN 307 BY APRIL 10, 12 PM.
