Verbos como “gustar”
Remember the verb “gustar?” The verb gustar means “to
like” something. It is a special verb because it takes an
indirect object pronoun. An indirect object pronoun
receives the action of a verb.
Let’s reviews how to conjugate “gustar” and the indirect
object pronouns.
Gustar:
Me gusta
Nos gusta
Te gusta
Os gusta
Le gusta
Les gusta
Notice that the form of “gustar” is always the same. The
only difference when you conjugate “gustar” is which
indirect object pronoun you are using. (me, te, le, nos, os,
les)
When you use “gustar” in a sentence, any verb that
follows will be an infinitive.
Ejemplo: Me gustar correr—I like to run
When you use verbs like “gustar” before nouns you have to
remember to put the letter “n” at the end of the verbs if there
is more than one nouns.
Ejemplo: Me gusta la pizza
Me gustaN los zapatos
