[Type text] Honey-Do Husbands Memo To: Joan Jenkins, Jack Jones, John Johnson From: Brittany Shaw, Senior Vice President CC: Martha Wilson, Will Banks, Jennifer Smith Date: 3/19/2016 Re: Honey-Do Husbands Meeting Conclusions Introduction Since the two meetings we had last week, I have compiled what I think is the best combination of everyone’s ideas and opinions about our company’s new Vision Statement, Mission Statement and Values and I have put together drafts for them. Brittany Shaw September 28, 2011 2 Vision Statement Our vision is to be a repair company unlike any other where families reach the end of their remodeling experience even more excited than they were when they began the process and who are living in their new spaces with happiness, comfort and efficiency rather than just existing in them. As long as we are able to keep this up in our daily work, we envision ourselves with sales around $2.5 million yearly by the year 2021 with a profit of $1 million. We definitely have an advantage over our remodeling competitors because by 2021, we expect to be doing full on remodeling projects, however while keeping our initial smaller jobs that got our company started. The fact that we continue to keep the smaller jobs IS our competitive advantage considering no other remodeling company around will adjust to that. We see that our customers need small touch ups along with their large remodels and we plan on keeping to their needs. We hope that our competitors continue to refer us to their clients for the jobs that they all still consider too small. Mission Statement Our mission is to be ever- dedicated to the satisfaction of our clients while professionally changing the way they view their home. Our objective is to create changes in our clients’ living spaces that reflect who they are and the way they live while making it a stress-free, enjoyable experience. We will accomplish this through teamwork, accountability and integrity. As long as we can keep up with our mission, we plan to more than quadruple our company within the next ten years; employee wise AND sales wise. Our continued success and longevity will rely on referrals from satisfied clients as we change lifestyles through quality home repairs. We have divided our goals as follows. Joan Jenkins will make sure we are up to date on the latest programs, software and will work as often as needed to make sure our accounts are continually updated as well. Jack Jones will continue his role as customer service manager and make sure that every single customer is not only satisfied, but excited through the entire process and will do whatever it takes to keep them happy. John Johnson will continue being our estimator and making sure to keep his research up to date as far as how much competitors are charging and ensuring that our prices are always reasonable in the eyes of the client. Jennifer Smith will begin her new role as project manager and make sure that our work is all quality every time. She Brittany Shaw September 28, 2011 2 will expect nothing but the best from our guys in the field and make sure that they keep our values what they are. Core Values A core value is defined as “the most essential, vital part of some idea or experience accepted by a group or individual” by Webster’s dictionary. We believe that the key to creating a truly successful organization is an intense focus on the values of each member and his or her actions. First and foremost our customers’ views of us come before everything. Beyond that, we proudly consider our values to be honesty, quality, teamwork, accountability, making sure the customer is taken care of and all in all, have fun while accomplishing our everyday goals. Conclusion After reviewing my example of what I think best compiles the topics discussed in our previous meetings, I hope that you will provide me with your feedback. I understand it is the weekend, but please let me know if I left anything out, or if any of you disagree with any statement in particular. I look forward to hearing your opinions and I will see you all on Monday!
