Product No. 1 : Victorian Novels Information Charts
Deadline: Wednesday, September 17
You will work in groups of five. Each member will prepare two charts with the required information for two Victorian
Novels. Turn in all of them together as one document. Of course, use the same font. The documents will cover 10 of
the novels included in the Study Sheet for Victorian times and literature.
The chart will contain the following information about each novel:
Title, author with life years, setting, characters (brief description for each of the main characters based on the DataPhysical appearance-personality/values list), conflicts (both internal and external), plot (10 main events), themes,
tone, mood, point of view (narrator, 1st or 3rd person), author’s biographical elements, personal reaction (&
explanation), a 100-word passage (& academic explanation), etc.
The passage of your choice should be at least 100 words long. You might find versions of many of these novels in
www.gutenberg.org You must accompany the passage with an informed comment explaining why you chose it and
what aspect of the novel it especially reflects (theme, character, Victorian times or style, etc.), explaining how it
reflects it.
The chart will include a small text showing the references (your sources) in APA format. DO include the URL if it is an
online source. These are two of many sources that will guide you for the APA format. Introduction:
