SEF reports are generated from all SEF responses. • Data from these reports are ultimately incorporated into the faculty evaluation process and referenced for personnel decisions, including merit, promotion, and tenure. • This process is labor intensive, requiring significant staff time and resources to print, complete, return, and scan the paper SEF responses. 3 Upcoming Changes to SEF Process • FSU has now adopted a fully online campus-wide evaluation system that will streamline the SEF process and result in significant cost savings. • Beginning in the fall 2015 term: o Students enrolled in ALL courses will complete an online SEF survey instrument via the CoursEval web platform. o Students will complete SEF surveys by logging in to Blackboard and utilizing the MyCoursEval panel. o Faculty will access SEF course information by logging in to Blackboard and utilizing the MyCoursEval panel. 4 4 New Process for Students to Complete SEF Forms Step 1: Log in to student Blackboard account.
