Part I: US Constitution
The Preamble

We the People of the United States, in Order to
form a more perfect Union, establish Justice,
insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the
common defense, promote the general Welfare,
and secure the Blessings of Liberty to
ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and
establish this Constitution for the United States
of America.

Legislative Branch – Congress
 “All legislative powers herein granted shall be
vested in a Congress”


Clause 1: Treason against the United States, shall
consist only in levying War against them, or in

 Clause 2: The Congress shall have Power to
declare the Punishment of Treason, but no
Attainder of Treason shall work Corruption of
Blood, or Forfeiture except during the Life of the
Person attainted


This Constitution, and the Laws of the United
States which shall be made in Pursuance

of any State to the Contrary notwithstanding.
