What’s FBLA?





helps students develop skills for their future
success in their career
promotes business education in high school
provides students with leadership opportunities
through competitions, community and business
partnership projects, internships, workshops,
and conferences.
What do we do?
Competitions
-participate in section, state, and national competitions
 State Projects
-complete projects that aid local communities, and
partner with real businesses to help with their
marketing and operations
 Workshops
-attend workshops that help improve members’
leadership and management skills

Competition
-individual, team (2-3 members), and chapter events
-each member can participate in up to two events
 Southern Section Leadership Conference
-Irvine ($20)

 National Leadership Conference (Anaheim)
Objective Events

Competitors take an individual one-hour objective test
administered at the conference.

Production Events

Competitors take an individual production test administered at their school
and a one-hour objective test administered at the conference.


Competitors are interviewed or make a presentation to a panel of judges.
