When I Was Young
Rough Draft Template
Write a rough draft of a story about when you were younger. You should include five experiences, each
of which will appear on a different page. You might write about a visit to a special person, an outdoor
activity, an indoor activity, a favorite food, or a favorite story. When you are done writing, check your
text for spelling and grammar. Then underline all of the verbs that are written in the past tense in a
different color.
