Mr Nathan Radley
• He tells Jem he filled the knothole of the tree with cement.
• He says that is what you do when a tree is dying.
Atticus
• Atticus says in his opinion the tree with the knothole is not dying.
• When he hears that Mr Nathan says it was dying he said Mr
Nathan must know his own trees better than Atticus.
