*Canadians must pay an additional fee of $1.00 for each U.S. Figure Skating Test (See TR 5.04)
** If you are a USFS member with a club other than CVFSC, you must have a letter of permission from an authorized representative of your home club
TR1.028. All members of other clubs must pay an additional $20 per session. Dance test fees are the fees for each skater being tested.
CVFSC TEST GUIDELINES - PLEASE READ & SIGN
Test applications and fees must be submitted to the Test Chair no later than 2 weeks prior to the test date.
Applications received by mail MUST BE postmarked on or before the deadline date. Coach can also collect applications and place in
drop box in coach’s room. Late entries may be added to the schedule based on space availability. Forms need to be complete with
proper fees paid (test fee, hospitality fee and non-member fee, if applicable) and signatures included (coach and parent) or the risk of
application will not be processed when received.
Applications received after the deadline date (2 weeks prior to test), if accepted, will be at the discretion of the Test Chairs and subject
to a $10 late fee.
Test Applications will be accepted and prioritized in the following order: (1) home club full member, (2) associate member, (3) nonmember AND in the order they are received. Possible exception for high level tests. You may join CVFSC as a full/associate member to
avoid the non-member charge.
Any cancellation of a test by a skater after application deadline (2 weeks before test date) is not refundable, but the skater can use
credit towards the next available test session. If the skater does not test at the next available test session, then such fee is forfeited
and the test application will need to be resubmitted. The only exception to this rule is an injury or illness verified by a physician's note.
(This is to prevent a skater from indefinitely holding a spot as we need to plan for accurate ice time and judging).
A skater wishing to test at a CVFSC test session who is not a full home club member or associate member is subject to the following
additional requirements:


A letter of permission from the skater’s home club must be submitted with the test—emailed permissions accepted at
staceycastonguay@comcast.net &/OR CascadeValleyFSC@yahoo.com.
A non-member fee of $20.00 in addition to the test fees must be submitted with the application.
DAY OF TEST:


Skaters should arrive to the test session at least one hour prior to their scheduled warm-up time. Skater and coaches must
be prepared for last minute changes in schedule to accommodate for emergencies, Retry MIF tests needed to test for FS
tests, or scratched skaters. Failure to report as specified may result in your test being cancelled.
Parent check in with test chair/at check-in table for your volunteer assignment and sign the volunteer log. You will be
responsible to help run the test session by performing duties assigned ahead of time.
Please be respectful of Judges, Test Chairs and Test Volunteers as all of their time is generously donated.
