Introduction
This document is intended to be presented to the NFV#8 leadership meeting, 19 November 2014, Scottsdale, USA.
ETSI NFV has defined the following NFV-MANO architectural framework. 3GPP SA5 has agreed to use this
architecture for their work on network management of virtualized networks.
ETSI NFV has defined a number of functions in their documents (e.g. NFVO/VNFM/VIM, etc. see in the first column
of the table below). The intent of this document is to propose how to standardise these functions for the network
management of virtualized networks.

3GPP SA5 has defined the following Management reference model in 3GPP TS 32.101 [3].

Proposal
The following table describes the proposal from 3GPP SA5 on how to cooperate between ETSI NFV and 3GPP SA5 on
network management of virtualized networks, using the ETSI NFV MANO architecture [2]. This proposal is to be
finalized during the discussion with leadership from other involved SDOs.
