ETSI NFV has defined the following NFV-MANO architectural framework. 3GPP SA5 has agreed to use this architecture for their work on network management of virtualized networks. ETSI NFV has defined a number of functions in their documents (e.g. NFVO/VNFM/VIM, etc. see in the first column of the table below). The intent of this document is to propose how to standardise these functions for the network management of virtualized networks. This proposal is to be finalized during the discussion with leadership from other involved SDOs.
